Healing Encounters Gathering

We are looking forward to come together to encounter each other, our work, our interests and our initiatives.

Preliminary schedule, subject to change:

Thursday:

5 pm: Registration opens

7 pm: Gathering opening, key note speaker to be announced, followed by tea and conversation

Friday:

9 am – Group eurythmy

10 am - Encounter Each Other Session: first in small groups and then together, we will get to know each other, our current involvement with Anthroposophy and our work in the world; our wishes and emerging initiatives

12 pm – 2:30: Nurturing Time, including lunch and hands-on activities together

2:30 – 3:30 pm: “Meeting Initiatives” break-out rooms.

3:45 pm – 5 pm: Closing remarks and reflections

5pm – 9 pm: Optional social time (dinner, singing, dancing)

Saturday:

9 am - 3 pm (optional): Self-directed meetings of the initiatives

Camping is available (included in ticket price, bring your own gear) through 3pm Saturday afternoon, November 1st on the lush, natural grounds of the church.

Sunday morning we invite all folks to join us for breakfast at a local restaurant and then attend service at The Christian Community (515 S 3rd St. Mebane, NC 27302) at 10:30 am.

If a lack of childcare prevents you from coming to this event, please contact us at healingencountersnc@gmail.com as we have many volunteers (many of whom are trained Waldorf teachers) available to provide childcare and the grounds of the church are equipped with a playground, outdoor classroom and amphitheater, volleyball and basketball court and plenty of nature.
